Hybrid Carpenter & Business Systems Associate
Pegasus Decking is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented person to join our team in a unique hybrid role — split between building decks in the field and helping run the technology behind our business.

What You'll Do
Carpentry (Field Work)
- Learn how to build decks from the ground up — framing, decking, railing, and finish work
- Learn practical carpentry math (e.g., adding fractional measurements like 1/16" + 1/8")
- Carry heavy lumber, concrete bags, and other materials on job sites
- Take clean, accurate measurements and make precise cuts
Business systems work image placeholder
Business Systems (Office/Computer Work)
- Apply lumber and inventory pricing knowledge to help build accurate project estimates
- Manage and manipulate decking estimate data
- Build new business workflows, including:
- Learn to use Pegasus Decking' custom in-house software
- Learn to read and understand code generated by AI software agents, to help direct and refine our internal tools
Who We're Looking For
Someone willing to learn both a physical trade and practical business/tech skills — no prior experience required in either, though a willingness to work hard and pick things up quickly matters most.
